This hilarious and heart-warming comedy won the Olivier award when it was produced in London's West End by the RSC and was adapted into the multi award winning film which starred Julie Walters and Michael Caine.

Since landing the role as unscrupulous reporter, Damien Day, in the satirical news show, Drop the Dead Donkey, he has been an ever-present star of stage, TV and silver screen. His major TV roles include Ballykissangel, In Deep, and In Denial Of Murder, and his best known film is the mining drama/comedy, Brassed Off.
