In Memory of Peter Cropper - Dvorak at Twilight.

After a memorable performance of Brahms's Sextets last season, the late Peter Cropper dreamt up this special programme in a local hostelry to perform for the Trust this season.

The Cypresses finds the lovesick Dvorak qriting a series of miniatures for String Quartet; the Quintet for two violas was written during his time in the United States, whilst there is really no sunnier piece than the A major Sextet.

This special concert again brings together a group of esteemed and respected chamber music colleagues including Peter's son, violinist Martin Cropper and Ben Nabarro (Ensemble 360), violists Robin Ireland (of The Lindsdays) and Louise Williams (the Endellion, Chilingirian) with cellists Richard Jenkinson (Dante) and Richard May.
