The Circle Is Unbroken: Trembling Bells + Mike Heron
Acclaimed folk-rock group Trembling Bells team up with Mike Heron (Incredible String Band) for their first fully collaborative concert tour 'The Circle Is Unbroken'. The show debuted to glowing reviews at Celtic Connections in January, and celebrates Mike Heron's legacy in his 70th year.
The concert highlights their musical sympathies, as they exchange material in an evening comprised of classic String Band songs, and the contemporary tunes of The Trembling Bells.

The song-based group of Alex Neilson (drummer to Baby Dee, Tight Meat, Bonnie Prince Billy, Josephine Foster and more.) Like a faintly unhinged take on Fairport Convention or Fotheringay with soaring uplifting Sandy Denny style vocals that occasionally give way to deranged passages of feedback and clattering percussion.
Trembling Bells tour dates
A true superstar of the folk scene. He founded the legendary and aptly named Incredible String Band in 1967 and in the ensuing years recorded with the likes of Pete Townshend, Elton John, Jimmy Page, Richard Thompson, John Cale, Keith Moon and Steve Winwood, with the Rolling Stones and Robert Plant citing him as an influence.
