Mosborough Music Festival 2013 : Reverend And The Makers + Chatfield + Exit Calm + Indra + I Set The Sea On Fire + Marquis Drive + Modern Faces + Pysence + Section 60 + The North + The Rainband + The Sherlocks + The Trap + Yellow Elevators
Reverend And The Makers are the brainchild of Sheffield musician Jon McClure, who recorded the original RATM demos with members of the Arctic Monkeys and Bromheads Jacket. The group uses a combination of indie rock, electro and funk to complete their signature sound, which has earned them headline tours across the UK and numerous bouts of critical acclaim.
Reverend And The Makers tour dates
In the current era of disposable heroes, this mesmerizing four-piece tread a different path, from a band who simply list their influences as three legendary record labels, the bands output invokes the same classic approach to music as Creation Records. They bring the euphoria and hedonism of Factory to the progressive, with the forward thinking ideals of Mo Wax, producing music with heart, style and integrity.
Exit Calm tour dates
A five piece 'indietronic' band from Sheffield.
I Set The Sea On Fire tour dates
Marquis Drive are the ultimate UK’s no 1 Madchester/britpop/indie band. They replicate cult anthems from mainly the '90s, such as Bittersweet (The Verve), Step On (Happy Mondays), Resurrection (The Stone Roses), Sit Down (James), and many more from iconic bands such as The Farm, The Charlatans, Inspiral Carpets, Ocean Color Scene, The La’s, Oasis, Soup Dragons, Shed Seven and many more.
Marquis Drive tour dates
Scottish indie-rock band with the an Oasis or Kasabian swagger.
Modern Faces tour dates
The band are a new up-and-coming talent who play original tunes; if they were to fit in a box it would be indie rock but that's the tip of this iceberg.
The North tour dates
Founded in 2011 by frontman Martin Finnigan and guitarist Phil Rainey (former band mate of Peter Hook in Monaco), the band became a four piece when drummer Steve Irlam and multi-instrumentalist Joe Wilson joined the ranks, recently growing into a five piece with new addition bassist Sam Wilson. The band have earned rave reviews from the likes of Liam Gallagher and Jim Kerr and are an established name on Manchester's music scene.
The Rainband tour dates
Sheffield's The Sherlocks are not any old four-piece Indie-Rock band. It's a family affair, with the band containing two sets of brothers! Brothers Kiaran (vocals/guitar) and Brandon Cook (drums) are joined by brothers Josh (guitar) and Andy Davidson (bass). Since forming in 2010 they have notched up over 500 gigs.
They take their inspiration from fellow Sheffield stars the Arctic Monkeys, along with hints of The Jam, Courteeners and Beatles. Sheffield indie chart star Reverend & The Makers front man Jon McClure is a big fan and has offered to write with them.
