Soup Review will aim to provide good times in the form of an entertaining support set and a bowl of delicious vegan soup (which they will review LIVE!!) before a performance from their chosen featured artist. All for the modest price of £10 which also includes a BYO/corkage charge!
This months featured artist is Sun Drift!!
Sun Drift is someone who has kept his internet presence to an absolute minimum and all we know is that it is the moniker of Silverdale's Zac Barfoot. Fortunately, 'Tied' is a track that manages to speak for itself without any extra backlog of information.
The leading track from his self-recorded and self-released EP of the same name is a deliciously luscious concoction of interweaving guitar melodies laden with delicate, double-tracked vocals that help create a real feeling of space and expanse. Think Beck's Morning Phase from a British tongue that sparkles and glimmers with melodic warmth.
