Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead: A Shaftesbury Arts Centre Music & Drama Group Production

In the wings of Hamlet, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are two minor courtiers awaiting their summons to court.

Principal characters from Shakespeare’s play come and go as the pair muse on the meanings of free will, life and death, whilst being shepherded – and occasionally derailed – by The Player and his Tragedians.

Tom Stoppard’s haunting but brilliantly witty play invites you on a journey into an eccentric, surreal world where the familiar becomes strange and absurd.
