Comedian and writer from Dublin who was the youngest winner of the Perrier Award. He has appeared on many TV shows, including the Channel 4 drama, The Last Detective, and perhaps most notably as a former team captain on the BBC2 comedy music quiz, Never Mind The Buzzcocks. He has written several novels, two collections of poetry and many short stories. He lives in London with a cat, a dog, loud music, and a smoker's cough.
'For quick laughs look elsewhere, but for something that leaves more of an impression. Hughes is your man' (Chortle)
'At his funniest and most profound' (The Sunday Herald)
'Hughes swiftly and seamlessly alternates between pathos and gags' (The List).

Probably best known as being a third of the We Are Klang sketch group, Steve Hall is a superb stand-up in his own right and has provided support for Russell Howard on three of his sell-out national tours.
Steve has been called a Steve Coogan 'lookalike and soundalike', which makes sense as they are distantly related through a convoluted web of Irish cousins. Hecklers tend to think Steve looks more like Mr Bean. Daily Telegraph Comedy Awards 2003 and BBC Comedy Awards 2003 runner-up.
'The most intelligent stand-up you've never heard of' (GQ)
'His phrasing is joyous and choice of words close to poetic' (Metro)
'Deadpan brilliance' (Time Out)
'Wonderfully misanthropic' (Sunday Times)
''Russell Howard's fine tour support' (The Times)
'A lovely, friendly, thoroughly entertaining show' (Chortle)
'This is stand-up as it should be: snappy and smart, occasionally nasty, and always funny' (The List).

Maff Brown began performing in November 2005. His weekly club, Outside The Box Comedy Club, was nominated and won the prestigious Best Comedy Club Award from the renowned website chortle.co.uk.
Brown tours the UK comedy circuit developing his own material. March 2007 saw him tackle the comedy clubs in New York City and has had numerous gigs in London's legendary Comedy Store, most popular were the charity fundraiser gigs for Macmillan Cancer Support. These have been held on each September after his return from the Edinburgh festival.
2007 saw a successful gig with Brown hosting and the bill including Dara O'Briain, Russell Howard and was headlined by Al Murray. 2008 was a total sell out with The Independent heralding the evening as 'A triumph!'
'Maff is one of those comics that doesn't need to try. Jokes fall out of him like gold coins coming out of a pirate's chest' (Frank Skinner)
'I think Maff Brown is very funny, but if you don't agree you can still laugh at his stupid hair' (Stephen Merchant)
'Brilliant stand up, great material' (Bill Bailey)
'Jokes fall out of him like gold coins from a pirate's chest' (Frank Skinner)
'The love child of Leo Sayer and a performing seal' (Jack Dee).
