Keith James

Multi-talented Keith James is fast becoming a regular performer in the Manor House. A very well-regarded and versatile guitarist singer/songwriter, Keith’s style and subject matter are perfectly suited to the intimate and atmospheric setting of the Old Court Room. For this show, he will present an honest and affectionate reflection of the timeless and insightful music of the great Yusuf - Cat Stevens.

Keith will tell the story of Cat Stevens’ life, from his early pop career, life threatening illness and spiritual journey, using performances of his many beautiful and memorable songs. Some will be delivered as we all remember them. Others, Keith will carefully and intuitively re-voice and respectfully re-interpret with rich, balanced guitar arrangements and a more personal vocal approach.

This show will be part of a tour by Keith James which will contribute proceeds and audience donations to the UNICEF UK Syrian Children’s appeal.
