A feel-good musical comedy from the writers of 'Love, When it's Brass' and 'The Curse of the Smuggler's Run'.

Trapped in his life in the smallholding Summer's Edge on the Yorkshire Wolds, Cole isn't impressed when city-girl Pia arrives with her father for a holiday in the new barn conversion. But what is the dark secret waiting to be revealed and how will it threaten everything Cole holds dear? Could it be that the land of Summer's Edge and its ancient yew tree contain faerie magic?

As part of the experience, fairy cakes, jam tarts and drinks will be available for you to enjoy as a picnic while you watch the performance.

Featuring Shannon Barker, David Brown, Bobby Moore, Josephine Pimm, Paul Spencer and Rae Yaldren. With Maisie Atkinson, Tom Booth, Chris Fairchild, Charlotte Hill, Jade Nadon and Stephen Wilkin.

Written by John Pattison & Alison Watt, 'Summer's Edge' was originally produced in 2016 at Westwood Theatre in the Round and now returns with new orchestrations and lyrics, plus a new performance space in the Theatre@TheLibrary, Vernon Road.
