The recipient of several accolades, including a Golden Globe Award, a People's Choice Award, several Best Actress Awards and a Primetime Emmy Award nomination, Joan has also been awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Expect the unexpected – anecdotes, surprises, humour – for an evening of unusual and memorable entertainment with one of our greatest national treasures. This fascinating glimpse into the world of the renowned star lifts the lid on the highs and lows of her amazing career, from her early days at RADA right up to her most recent roles on the big and small screen.
Intimate and witty, Joan deftly blends storytelling, humour and gossip for a night that you do not want to miss. Joan pulls no punches, but she doesn't care. She's Unapologetic!
Every in-the-room ticket includes a free copy of My Unapologetic Diaries.
For those who are unable to attend a live show, the event on 11 October will also be LIVE streamed from Theatre Royal Drury Lane. Worldwide viewing is available and the stream will be available for one week on demand after the initial broadcast, so you can watch at anytime if the initial broadcast time doesn't suit your timezone.
Legendary Hollywood and television star, and best-selling author. Born in London, Joan's stage debut was in Ibsen's A Dolls House at the age of nine. This led to studies at the Royal Academy Of Dramatic Art and, at the age of 16, her first film contract. Since then Joan has appeared in countless films, TV programmes (notably Dynasty) and won numerous awards. During the '80s Joan moved into the publishing world, with her first being Past Imperfect in 1985. In 1997 she was awarded an OBE for her lifetime contribution to the arts and her continuing charity work.
