St Ann’s Hospice is a charity which cares for thousands of people with life-limiting illnesses every year. The hospice provides a free service to patients, carers and their loved ones from three sites in Greater Manchester, and a range of outreach services, supporting patients in the local community and their own homes. Around a third of St Ann’s funding comes from the NHS, the rest (£20,000 a day) from donations and the kind support of people who raise money to help patients and their families. Every penny makes a real difference to those who really need it–right when they need it most.
The Comedy Night, in aid of St Ann’s hospice is guaranteed to be a laugh out loud, comedy spectacular. With some of comedy’s finest coming together to raise vital funds for such a great cause.

Gary Delaney is a razor sharp one-liner comedian, who is widely regarded as being the most quotable comic on the circuit. The high quantity of stand out gags leaves the audience struggling to remember them all. He regularly plays all the big clubs including The Comedy Store, Highlight, Jongleurs, Komedia, Glee, Rawhide, The Frog and Bucket, Hyena, Baby Blue, The Stand, Comedy Café, Lee Hurst's Backyard, Banana Cabaret and headlines at clubs throughout the UK. Gary is a regular guest on Mock The Week and has also appeared on Dave's 'One Night Stand', Comedy Central's 'Comedy Blue' and on Channel 4's 'Robert's Web' as well as Radio 4's 'Loose Ends' and Radio 2's 'Russell Kane's Whistle-Stop Tour'. His debut show 'Purist' was a big hit at the Edinburgh Festival in 2010, selling out every night and receiving many four and five star reviews. 'Gary Delaney has more quality jokes in this hour than many comics have in their entire careers… Quite brilliant' (The Scotsman). 'I laughed and I laughed and I laughed! A master craftsman' (The Times) 'Taut, brilliant one-liners. Delaney was worth the price of admission alone' (Chortle) '... Razor sharp one-liners' (The Daily Telegraph) Gary Delaney was #5 in Ents24's Hardest Working Comedians of 2018 list.

Oldham-born-and-bred comic who epitomises the laddish, male perspective on the world. After cutting his teeth on the Manchester comedy circuit, he is now a national act, appearing across the country and occasionally on the BBC. Not for the easily offended. 'His tall tales can lead anywhere on any given night' (The Times) 'A rare mixture of wit and charm' (The Guardian) 'Probably the quickest I’ve ever seen, certainly the funniest' (The Big Issue).

A mischievous and engaging comic, he tackles a variety of topics with an intelligent mind and a flair for deconstructing modern society while subverting audience's expectations. His playful style and cheeky personality, along with a wry wit led him to win the coveted London Comedy Store's King Gong on his first attempt, as well as reaching the finals of the BBC New Comedy Awards. Star of BBC Radio 4’s TEZ Talks, BBC Two’s 'Live from the BBC' and BBC Three’s ‘Man Like Mobeen’. 'Sartorially stylish and winningly cheeky' (Chortle) “Blackburn-born Ilyas has a slickness more reminiscent of US comics, and the gags to back it up, though his most prized asset could yet be his bold, subversive streak” (The Guardian). Tez Ilyas featured in Ents24's 20 Hardest Working Comedians of 2018 list.

'Harry Stachini started performing comedy after attending a Hot Water Comedy course at the age of 18 in 2013 and since then was named in the top 3 of the Southport New Comedian of the year competition in 2014. 'Harry is beginning to establish himself as a strong new act on the comedy circuit with his easy-going style along with his likeable character just adds to the brilliance of the stories and the unexpected one-liners that has crowds in stitches' (hot Water Comedy Club) 'It's amazing how relaxed and hilarious this guy is having only done comedy a short while. Big things to come' (Anonymous reviewer).
