The Category Finals of BBC Young Dancer 2017 come to the Quays
Theatre.

BBC Young Dancer is back! Talented young dancers in ballet, contemporary, South Asian dance and street dance applied to enter BBC Young Dancer during the summer of 2016 and now, at the Category Final stage, the best five dancers in each category will dance for a place in the Grand Final. Each dancer will perform three pieces – two solos and a pas de deux or duet with choreography and music of their choice. Each evening, a panel of expert judges will choose a winner.

The BBC Young Dancer Category Finals will be filmed for broadcast on BBC Four and there will be cameras in the auditorium.

Saturday 21st Jan, 7pm: Street Dance Category Final
Sunday 22nd Jan, 7pm: Ballet Category Final
Monday 23rd Jan, 7pm: South Asian Category Final
Tuesday 24th Jan, 7pm: Contemporary Category Final
