Chris Bannister

An evening with Chris Bannister is an evening of rare quality and it is easy to see how he has gained an international reputation which has delighted fans for over two decades. We are therefore delighted to be welcoming Chris back to Grewelthorpe Village Hall after his sell-out concert here in 2021. Why has it been so long!

Last time Chris entertained us with the music of John Denver, a genre he performs with incredible faithfulness – though not aspiring to be a tribute. Tonight’s show – ‘A Songwriter’s Legacy’ - will however also include his own compositions, such as ‘If there’s ever a time’, and tracks from his huge repertoire of music from the likes of Gordon Lightfoot, Dylan, Beatles, Cat Stevens, Bruce Springsteen, Paul Simon and Nick Drake. We are looking forward to another great evening with Chris in July 2024!
