Hansel And Gretel - Relaxed Performance

Forest Forge is leading the way for theatre companies across the country by providing a relaxed performance of a theatre show and promoting access for all. The relaxed performance of Hansel and Gretel is for children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) an/or learning difficulties, and their families will take place on Thursday 3rd December 2015 at Forest Forge's Ringwood base, The Theatre Centre.

A 'relaxed performance' is when the show is reworked to be suitable for an audience with ASD and/or learning difficulties. Forest Forge will be using the special expertise within the company, alongside support from Hampshire Autistic Society, to provide this opportunity. The company has created a social story explaining the venue and show, which is available in advance to ensure that all those attending are fully prepared for the theatre experience.

The relaxed performance of Hansel and Gretel at Forest Forge's base has been made possible by funding from Hampshire County Council's Short Breaks fund.
