Trinity Concert Band, Paul Speed

The concert will feature the Trumpet Concerto in A-flat major by Alexander Arutiunian. The Concerto is a virtuoso showpiece and an energetic powerhouse of Eastern European lyricism and harmonic textures from the Armenian composer. It will feature a guest trumpet player – Paul Speed.

The concert band will also have a great selection of other music including the exciting “Danzon No. 2 by Arturo Márquez, arranged for wind band; “Symphonic Marches” by John Williams and “Nimrod” from Enigma Variations.
