South Chiltern Choral Society, Ensemble Vocal de Meylan

On Saturday 27th April, the South Chiltern Choral Society will join forces with a well-known large French choir from Grenoble, the “Ensemble Vocal de Meylan”, creating an ensemble of well over 150 singers.

The two choirs are coming together to perform Haydn’s masterpiece, The Creation, in the Concert Hall in Reading.

This will be the fourth musical collaboration between the two choirs, SCCS having previously travelled twice to Meylan (a district of Grenoble), so this will be an opportunity to renew friendships as well as to make music together.
