Preston Guild Hall will play host to a wonderful celebration of classical music and rousing Proms favorites to bring in the New Year.

The beautiful music will be accompanied by a traditional welcoming in of the New Year at midnight and amazing indoor fireworks to ensure the event feels like a true celebration.

All those classic, rousing compositions from the Proms will be played and enjoyed by the audience at the Guild Hall on Thursday 31st December.

Everything from Ravel’s Bolra to the Toreador Song from Bizet’s Camren will be enjoyed alongside the moving Sleeping Beauty Waltz by Tchaikovsky. A Proms event simply isn’t the same without a little singalong too so visitors can expect to get themselves involved with renditions of Nessun Dorma, Land of Hope and Glory and Rule, Britannia.

John Pryce-Jones will be conducting the Manchester Concert Orchestra with tenor Mario Sofroniou and baritone James Cleverton providing the oral accompaniments. The event has become a classic in the Preston events calendar and is a wonderful popular way to celebrate the New Year.
