PGS Remembrance Concert
The annual PGS Remembrance Concert this year commemorates the centenary of the Gallipoli campaign.
A moving programme includes three newly-commissioned pieces for choir by composers from Australia and New Zealand.
The PGS Chamber Choir will be joined again by the London Mozart Players and conductor Graham Ross (Director of Music at Clare College, Cambridge).
The concert also includes Herbert Howells' evocative Elegy for viola, string quartet and string orchestra featuring PGS pupil Lara Wassenberg as viola soloist and Haydn's masterpiece the Missa in tempore belli (Mass in Time of War).
