Alex clarke chosen five

Having won the Rising Star category in the 2019 British Jazz Awards, Alex is known to be one of the most in-demand and versatile young reeds players emerging on the British jazz scene.

For her debut appearance at the Grand Pavilion, Alex is pleased to be bringing some of the Midlands' finest musicians, namely Dave Deakin (trombone), Richard Hughes (piano), Simon Smith (bass) and Jools Aldridge (drums). Expect an evening of high-energy entertainment, featuring a programme of classic repertoire from New Orleans spirituals to British trad.
