The Fron Male Voice Choir, Twm Tegid

The Fron Male Voice Choir make a return visit to the Stiwt for an evening concert. This choir of around 50 voices are one of the finest Male Voice Choirs in the UK. They continue to have a full diary of engagements right across the UK and are still finding time to record a new CD this summer and are undertaking a short concert tour of Scotland in October 2019.

Despite their busy schedule they have recently returned to the competition stage. In 2018 they were crowned Male Voice Choir Champions at the Llangollen International Eisteddfod. In 2017 they attended the biennial Cornwall International Male Chorus Festival and won the 40+ voices competition, they were crowned Best UK choir, and declared to have given the best performance of a piece.

Twm Tegid is a young bass baritone with a big voice and a big future. The choir first heard him sing at Liverpool’s Anglican Cathedral last year and he impressed them so much that they just had to sing with him again. Make a note of his name - the choir are sure you will be hearing a lot more of it in the future.
