The Politics Of James Bond
Tonight's lecture from Professor Jeremy Black examines the real life politics behind the fictionalised screen legend of 007, James Bond and Her Majesty's Secret Service.
Jeremy is a British Historian and Professor of Modern History. He is the author of over 100 books, principally but not exclusively on 18th-century British politics and international relations, and has been described as "the most prolific historical scholar of our age". Recent publications include War and World 1450-2000 (Yale), The British Seaborne Empire (Yale), Maps and History (Yale), George III (Yale) and European Warfare in a Global Context, 1660-1815 (Routledge).
