The Pasadena Roof Orchestra

They're delighted to welcome back to the Pitlochry stage this unbeatable live orchestra, specialising in authentic popular music from the 1920s and 1930s.

The Pasadena Roof Orchestra’s repertoire draws heavily on the music of giants like George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Jerome Kern and Hoagy Carmichael, composers who wrote unforgettable melodies and sophisticated, romantic lyrics. The tunes the PRO play are now modern classics, widely recognised as towering achievements of the songwriter’s art.

When it comes to dance band and early swing music, the PRO has no equal, performing the finest arrangements by the best musicians under the directorship of band-leader and singer, Duncan Galloway.
