The action revolves around the novelist Charles Condomine, who invites the eccentric medium and clairvoyant, Madame Arcati, to his house to conduct a séance, hoping to gather material for his next book.

The scheme backfires when, somewhat unexpectedly after the séance, he is haunted by the ghost of his annoying and temperamental first wife, Elvira. Elvira makes continual attempts to disrupt Charles'
marriage to his second wife, Ruth, who cannot see or hear the ghost and, somewhat expectedly, is not amused!

This is one of Noël Coward’s best plays, witty and waspish, and a huge hit when first performed in 1941 and then again when made in to a film with Rex Harrison and Margaret Rutherford. It is brought to you by the multi-talented and award-winning Concept Players whose recent performances have won GDL and NODA awards for their productions of Lend Me A Tenor and A Little Night Music.
