Angelos Epithemiou Unwitting star of 'Shooting Stars' (BBC2), 'Dave’s One Night Stand' and Channel 4’s 'The Angelos Epithemiou Show', cult favourite Angelos Epithemiou takes a giant leap into the spotlight yet again in this shambolic weird and wonderful new live comedy spectacle in The Barn Theatre, Oxted.

Join Angelos and guests as House of Stand Up presents an evening of new comedy, old comedy and anything in between. Nothing is off the table when Epithemiou is in the building.

Angelos is gearing up for his massive gig at the O2 which has not been booked and is never likely to be, but he’s keeping the dream alive. Think Little Britain meets Vic and Bob and then lower your expectations and get on board.

Come and revel at Angelos and his special surprise guests for one night only on Saturday 30th September 2024.

David Ward

Presenter, writer and comedian David Ward, is fast making his name on the comedy circuit. David is a friendly, upbeat presenter with an intelligent yet warm and cheeky outlook that gives him a unique and gentle bite. Fluid, quick thinking and lively, David's spontaneity has made him the choice host for the BBC's New Comedy Awards heats, as well as the rounds for C5's So You Think You're Funny? David's Edinburgh show The Whole Truth and Nothing But... in 2007 was performed to great acclaim, proving his skills as a writer, storyteller and actor in addition to his presenting and stand-up skills.

Wendy Wason

A Scottish actress and comedian, Wendy launched her comedy career in 2004, getting to the final of Funny Women and semi-finals of 'So You Think You're Funny' at the Edinburgh Fringe the following year. 'A natural on stage with bags of charm' (Chortle) 'She's absolutely hysterical!' (Jimmy Carr) 'Wendy Wason is a natural raconteur. Chatty and charming' (The Scotsman) 'Intelligent, heartfelt and entertaining' (The List).
