Isis Ensemble, Shruti Jauhari

The Sounds of South Asia Series presents a cross-cultural collaboration between All India Radio artist Dr. Shruti Jauhai singing a collection of Hindustani works, and Ensemble ISIS (conductor: John Traill) performing pieces influenced by the classical music of India: Maurice Delage’s Quatre poèmes hindous (1912) and a new work by DPhil composer Des Oliver.
