Join the St. Peter's Chamber Orchestra to launch their Alpine Tour!

In July 2017, SPCO is taking Mahler back to the alps. They will be performing the Ninth Symphony in the first ever concert tour of all three of the composing huts where Mahler spent his summers. The project is totally unique: no orchestra has ever performed a Mahler symphony at all three of these locations.

SPCO is made up of Oxford's most outstanding young musicians. As an orchestra, they have a particularly strong affinity with Mahler and his music, having previously previously performed the Fourth, Fifth Symphonies, and Sixth symphonies to great acclaim.

To launch the tour, they will perform Ninth in Oxford on 12th June. It promises to be a very special evening in the company of some of Oxford's finest young musicians.
