Serious Child is indie folk musician Alan Young, who spent a year in the West Sussex woods writing his latest album Time In The Trees. This was released on the Spring Equinox, three days after lockdown was declared in the UK, with the album launch and accompanying tour cancelled at short notice.

Since then, Serious Child has rewritten the songs for solo performance on the guitar, harmonium and ukulele, though not at the same time. His inventive live streams have been described as amiable chaos, with his last performance including a social distancing duo on either side of a window pane, and a chicken called Keith.

Now join him for his second monthly Live Stream, followed by a Zoom call for a chat. Last time, social distancing required that band member Carla sand from outside the window, but luckily there was no rain. This time, the rules may be different.
