Saxophonist Jess Gillam will deliver an exclusive set from her home as part of the Royal Albert Home sessions.

In these strange times, closing the Hall’s doors is the best way to look after the world, but we are now opening a (virtual) window for you to experience some of the most talented artists around.

The Classic BRIT Award winner was the first saxophonist to reach the final of BBC Young Musician. In 2019 her debut album Rise, which featured a selection of her favourite pieces ranging from Marcello and Shostakovich to David Bowie and Kate Bush, shot to No. 1 in the Official UK Classical Charts

Gillam has performed at the Royal Albert Hall on a number of occasions, including at the prestigious Last Night of the Proms and to a global audience at last year’s BAFTAs.

A free spirit in style and character, Jess is a passionate advocate for the power of music in society, often combining her concert engagements with educational and social projects. She is a patron for Awards for Young Musicians and a trustee for the HarrisonParrott Foundation, working towards full inclusivity of all ethnicities, genders, disabilities and social backgrounds with equal access to the arts.

Please note: All live stream events are subject to change. Not all events listed are live performances by the artist - they also include archived concerts, DJ sets, masterclasses, Q&As and more.
