Peter Hook & The Light: Live In Mexico City

This event has been and gone.

Peter Hook & The Light present a never before seen full concert stream of the Mexico City show from their 2014 world tour, which took place at a sold out Jose Cuervo Salon on November 2nd 2014, a date otherwise known as the ‘Day of the Dead’ in Mexico.

Featuring Hooky & his band performing both classic Joy Division albums live and in full, ‘Live in Mexico City’ is a one-off, global streaming event, and also includes some of Joy Division’s classic non-album singles and B-sides as part of a 2 hour, 25 track setlist.

In keeping with Day of the Dead traditions in Mexico, the stage features a special tribute or ‘ofrenda’ to Hooky’s late Joy Division bandmate, Ian Curtis.

The full concert will be streamed to fans around the world across four different time zones. There are no restrictions on which stream you can watch so please choose whichever one is most convenient for you.

‘Live in Mexico City’ is a one-off streaming event and will not be available on-demand after it has taken place.

All proceeds from this concert stream will go to supporting Peter Hook & The Light’s touring crew to help them through the coronavirus pandemic.

Full details on how to access the show will be available in the DICE app and sent by email 30 minutes before the stream is due to start. For a full list of FAQs please visit the following link:

Peter Hook appearing at this event

Best known as the bassist from Joy Division and New Order. Peter decided to honour the outstanding work of his first band and the undoubted genius of the late Ian Curtis by giving people the opportunity to hear past Joy Division albums performed live and in their entirety. Backed by his band The Light, Hooky first played 'Unknown Pleasures' at the Factory club in Manchester in 2010, and has continued to tour the back catalogue ever since.
