Oasis: Whisky A-Go-Go, LA - 1994 Promo VHS Video

Tickets will go on sale
Tue 1st Sep 8AM

This is a brand new, fantastic quality source of the legendary Oasis show at Whisky-A-Go-Go in Los Angeles. This is the disastrous show which saw the band - fuelled by crystal meth - screw up a prestigious gig, and which caused Noel leave the band and fly off to San Francisco (where he wrote Talk Tonight).

This is sourced from a promotional Epic Records VHS from reddit user aparatchik, who very kindly offered to send it to OasisArchive for it to be shared freely amongst you fans. All he wants in return is for donations to be made to MVT (Music Venue Trust).

Please donate however much you can to help save independent music venues. Venues were struggling even before the Covid-19 outbreak, and many are facing an uncertain future now.

Oasis appearing at this event

'Beatlesque' melodies combined with attitude and arrogance akin to The Rolling Stones made this Manchester band one of the most important bands of the '90s. Catapulted to fame in 1994 with their debut album, 'Definitely Maybe', the Gallagher brothers fell effortlessly into the rock'n'roll lifestyle of sex, drink and drugs, offending everyone they met along the way. Famed for their temper tantrums as much as their music, their antics made them Britpop's favourite bad boys and a godsend for the press. Love them or hate them, you can't deny their ability to write a damn good pop tune.
