Following the huge success of their first ever online event in September, now you can join ‘Cloudbusting - The Music of Kate Bush' for their second interactive concert, streamed live and direct in full HD from the McMillan Theatre on Sunday 29th November!
“It’s going to be SO cold, so let us in-a-your window and into your living room to set our instruments up in front of a nice roaring fire, with you curled up in the best seats in the house, glass of mulled wine in hand.
We’ve been rehearsing a brand new set list of Kate Bush hits and album classics - something to warm the cockles of your heart AND chill you to the bone. Our concert from the MacMillan back in September was only a first, tentative step into the portal of 100% live-streamed music - let’s meet there once again on Sunday 29th November and share this music we all love, all around the world
November will be Magic Again!”
The McMillan Theatre’s incredible stage lighting combined with the band's bespoke projections will provide the backdrop for the show, with broadcast quality A/V systems and a professional technical crew beaming every note of ‘This Woman’s Work’ straight to your internet browser. Cloudbusting will once again perform Kate’s music ‘in the round’, utilising multiple cameras to bring the viewer right onto the stage and creating a truly immersive experience.
The Chatroom proved very popular during the first event and will be available once more to allow you to comment in real time with other Kate fans across the world who are watching live, and you can also leave questions and comments for the band members who may even respond directly to you during the performance.
And if that isn't enough, your Access Pass will allow you to login and rewatch the stream as many times as you want to for 14 days after the curtain falls on the night. All from the comfort of your living room - with far cheaper refreshments and no one telling you not to dance in the aisles!
Please note: All live stream events are subject to change. Not all events listed are live performances by the artist - they also include archived concerts, DJ sets, masterclasses, Q&As and more.
Cloudbusting: The Music Of Kate Bush
‘If you missed seeing Kate herself, Cloudbusting are the next best thing!’ Simon Mayo, BBC Radio 2 Cloudbusting have been championed by BBC ONE as one of the most authentic tributes in the world. Their passion for Kate’s music has won over sceptical fans everywhere, challenging perceptions of what a tribute band can be and resulting in sell-out performances across the UK. ‘There can only be one Kate Bush’ says vocalist Mandy Watson, who never attempts to mimic Kate on stage. ‘When you sing her music the characters in the songs take over - they are what you become, not Kate. We're just fans, amazed at this opportunity to perform this music we love so much’. Many of Kate’s original collaborators from stage and studio have been inspired to join the band on stage, including bass player Del Palmer, drummer Preston Heyman and dancer Stewart Avon Arnold, all of whom performed with Kate on her legendary Tour of Life live shows 40 years ago. ‘I could have been listening to Kate herself!' - Preston Heyman Running Up That Hill, Wuthering Heights, Hounds of Love, Babooshka, This Woman’s Work, Wow… Cloudbusting can’t wait to whip up a storm of love for Kate’s music once again in 2020, their new show featuring all the hits you’d expect as well as many songs you wouldn’t! Accompanied by eye-popping visuals that highlight the drama of Kate’s music, a Cloudbusting concert is an event no Kate Bush fan will want to miss. In the words of Kate herself, ‘We’re Cloudbusting, daddy!’ ‘Utterly, surreally brilliant’ - Mick Wall, Classic Rock Magazine
