A new musical journey inspired by the astonishing true Yorkshire story.
The new ‘must see’ musical, inspired by the astonishing true story of Nicholas Saunderson. No Horizon is uplifting, inspiring and truly astounding. Now cruelly forgotten by history, Saunderson sought to make the impossible possible. No eyes. No braille. No hope. It is 1682. Rejected at every turn, his brilliance surfaces.
Set against the contrasting earthiness of Yorkshire and the dreaming spires of Cambridge, No Horizon is a tale of courage, aspiration, passion and achievement in the face of great adversity. Directed by Andrew Loretto (Director of Hat Fair, Play to the Crowd, Winchester) and with movement direction by Lucy Cullingford (RSC, West End) and Balbir Singh, it features stunning and emotive music. This epic story seeks to re-establish Saunderson in his rightful place as a national icon.
Developed over 20 years and following a successful run with Underbelly at the Edinburgh Fringe, No Horizon is now touring across the North of England. Can you really afford to miss this theatrical masterpiece?
