Drawing on material from five Christmas albums**, Johnny Coppin, one of England’s finest singer/songwriters, presents a rich mix of carols and songs old and new, together with stories and folklore.

JOHNNY COPPIN - Johnny’s effortless vocals have graced the folk-scene since the emergence of Decameron in the early 1970s. An experienced solo performer, he is a talented songwriter and a fine interpretative singer. Johnny has recorded over fourteen albums including his latest "River of Dreams", "The Winding Stair", "Edge of Day" with writer Laurie Lee, and five Christmas albums.
He has just celebrated the 40th anniversary of the release of "Forest & Vale & High Blue Hill" – his classic album of Gloucestershire songs. He writes and directs the music for touring Shakespeare productions by the Festival Players Theatre Company, and for over twenty years he presented an Acoustic Music programme on BBC Radio across the West.

PAUL BURGESS on violin, recorders, and stories. A member of the Old Swan Band, and a leading exponent of the English-style of fiddle playing. Paul has played in a wide range of groups and orchestras including the John Kirkpatrick Band, and in TV productions of “Far From the Madding Crowd” and “Wives and Daughters” and wrote and performed the music for the “Cider With Rosie” serial on BBC Radio 4.

DIK CADBURY on guitars, is best known as bassist/vocalist with Decameron and Steve Hackett. He played at Grayshott a few years back, with Mike D'Abo (Manfred Mann) and also plays with Steve Ashley. Dik now performs both as a solo artist and in the Julie July Band. He has released two solo albums and a duo album with former Steve Hackett vocalist Pete Hicks.

** Albums include the latest "River of Dreams", and "Midwinter - Live in Concert",
plus "West Country Christmas", "All on a Winter’s Night", and
"A Country Christmas"
