Nottingham's Dawn Trader began their career during the phenomenon known as the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal that burst across the music scene in the late 70's and early 80's.

Dawn Trader were not only one of the finest examples of this genre but were very definitely Nottingham's best loved band, and rather unfortunately, best kept secret.
