The Cat Empire, The Pierce Brothers

The Cat Empire have solidified a huge international following with their trademark high-energy live shows, and after more than a decade since they ignited a passion for their music in the UK, they will return again for a 12 date circuit – the first stop on their 2016 global album tour.

The band have had a lot to celebrate recently, playing a sold out show at London’s prestigious Royal Albert Hall in June and their single ‘Que Sera Ahora’ going straight on the BBC Radio 2 playlist .

Their latest tour includes a few extra cities being added to the band’s usual UK sojourn – including a return trip to Edinburgh, where an epic 16-night stint at the Edinburgh Festival all those years ago sparked a long European love affair for the band’s ability to turn every gig into one huge party.

This is a band that makes music that people want to dance to –sand as such, music lovers from all over the world discovered The Cat Empire at that festival, spreading the Empire gospel worldwide.

During their UK tour, the band will play a mix of their hits and tracks from their brand new album – set for release in March 2016.
