n 2002, John Osborne won a competition on John Peel’s Radio One show. His prize was a box of records from Peel's own personal collection. This five-star, sell-out smash theatre hit of the Edinburgh Festival, adapted for BBC Radio Four and broadcast in 2011, is an ode to radio, those records and anyone who’s ever sought solace in wireless.

John Osborne’s debut storytelling hour enjoyed a sixty date tour in 2012 and was adapted for broadcast on Radio 4. It was last performed in 2013 but after considerable local demand he is bringing the show back for one night only at OPEN.
