Northampton Gilbert & Sullivan Group are delighted to be returning to the Royal stage with their latest production, The Yeomen Of The Guard.

Under the shadow of the Tower Of London in the 16th Century, the story centres on Colonel Fairfax, a gentleman, soldier and scientist, who has been condemned to death on a false charge of sorcery by his jealous cousin.

Fate, however, steps in - in the form of Sergeant Meryll, who owes his life to Colonel Fairfax, and Elsie Maynard, a beautiful strolling singer who has just arrived at the Tower to entertain the people in the company of a strolling jester, Jack Point.
