NCJazz Presents an unmissable evening of modern jazz in the intimate setting of our Underground Studio, with a relaxed atmosphere and cabaret seating.
The Karen Sharp Quartet have been touring the UK and delighting audiences with their first album, aptly named Spirit.
Karen Sharp first came to notice playing fluent, swinging and lyrical tenor sax in Humphrey Littleton’s band, and has twice won British Jazz Awards for tenor sax. Pianist Nikki Iles is a prize-winning composer and jazz educator who plays with beautiful sound and imagination. Completing the quartet are Dave Green on bass and Steve Brown on drums.
