Catrin Finch

Catrin Finch, the world-renowned classical harpist, arranger and composer from Wales, marks an exciting new phase in her remarkable musical career with the release of her new album Tides, an album of her own compositions.

Already a household name for her hugely successful international classical career, the release marks the first time her own compositions have appeared as a body of work on stage and on record. It reveals a new side of an exceptional artist, driven to explore the possibilities of the harp and a lifetime of musical influences. The album has being released on Catrin’s own label, which she named after the Cardiff-based music venue and studio ‘Acapela’ which Catrin has run with her husband since 2007.

Catrin reveals her piano skills for the first time on this album and tour, playing on several pieces. The album is produced by Lee House and the cover features artwork by artist Simon Tarrant.

Expect a beautiful musical journey from an extraordinary and diverse musician who is at the forefront of her remarkable art. This tour is supported by the Arts Council of Wales and Welsh Government.
