Kylie and the Kaiser Chiefs are the first two acts to be confirmed for Newmarket Nights in summer 2015.

In the 29th year of music at the racecourse, world renowned Kylie Minogue, known for hits including Spinning Around and Can’t Get You Out Of My Head, will be opening the Nights on June 19th.

Kylie said: “I am so excited to be performing at An Evening at the Races. I have an amazing band and fabulous dancers and can’t wait to share my hits with you in a beautiful summer outdoor show.

“Being from a horseracing city like Melbourne, I’ll be sure to have a flutter on the horses myself.”

In July, the Brit Award winning Kaiser Chiefs will be taking to the course for their second performance in three years.

BBC The Voice coach Ricky Wilson and his bandmates will be entertaining the crowds with anthems I Predict A Riot, Oh My God and Ruby on July 31st.

Amy Starkey, regional director east of Jockey Club Racecourses, said: “Newmarket Nights and the global singing sensation that is Kylie go together wonderfully well.

“She is a hugely popular artist and her legions of followers will be thrilled that she will be performing on The July Course on Friday, June 19.

“We are also delighted that the Kaiser Chiefs are playing at Newmarket for the second time in three years on 31st July.

“They wowed a big audience in the summer of 2013 and I am sure their fans will be keen to see them as they bring their unique brand of music back to The July Course again.

“We’re expecting a rush for tickets for one of the must be there music events of the whole of 2015.”
