An evening of music and song exploring the shared history of Ireland and the north east, drawing on both local and Irish traditions. This will feature pieces from recently released album The Seam. Join folk musicians Bethany Elen Coyle, County Down’s Gareth Davies-Jones and the North East Socialist Singers, presenting songs of freedom, struggle and protest. This is complemented by Jazz Riot’s wittily inventive performance poetry, combining jazz guitar and political punch.
