Metro Radio Live 2013: James Arthur + Little Mix + Lawson + The Vamps + Conor Maynard + Eliza Doolittle + Union J + Example + Shane Filan + Pixie Lott
Metro Radio Live is back with another amazing show set to be the biggest pop party this autumn at the Metro Radio Arena!
Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult over 16.
Singer/songwriter James was the winner of X Factor 2012. After winning, James went on to score the biggest selling X Factor single of all time with the BRIT Award nominated ‘Impossible’. Following controversy surrounding some of the lyrical content on his 2013 debut album and a spate of twitter wars, James was dropped by his label and it seemed as if his career was over as soon as it had begun.
However, James came bouncing back in 2016 and re-signed to his label, with a no.1 album (the appropriately titled 'Back From The Edge') and going on to have his second no.1 single with 'Say You Won't Go', making James the first ever X Factor act to have two singles selling over a million copies each in his homeland.

Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall became Little Mix in 2011. They have sold over 7 million records, had two UK No.1 singles and two platinum albums ‘DNA’ and ‘Salute’.
As well as a successful arena tour they have been the recipients of both a Cosmo Ultimate Woman Award and a Glamour Women Of The Year Award. With over half a billion YouTube and Vevo views worldwide, they’ve also successfully become one of Britain’s greatest exports with massive tours in the US, Australia and Japan – breaking the Spice Girls’ long-held record of highest debut US chart position for a UK girl group in the process.
Little Mix tour dates
Lawson is Andy Brown, Adam Pitts, Joel Peat and Ryan Fletcher, a London-based band currently writing and recording with a big sound and big plans.

The Vamps cause a stir everywhere they go, with legions of fans following and pandemonium at every turn. From posting videos online whilst at school, Brighton singing sensation Conor was signed by Parlophone Records and won MTV's Brand New for 2012 award.
Conor Maynard tour dates
Taking her name from the My Fair Lady character, Eliza is the back-to-basics singer-songwriter of soulful pop music whose antics are making a stark impression on the UK music scene. She's been making music since the age of 10, growing up listening to old Motown, hip-hop and pop music to become the embodiment of the modern-day diva. Scoring top 40 singles in 2010 with 'Skinny Genes' and the no.5 hit 'Pack Up', she returns in 2013 with 'Big When I Was A Little', a reminisce song of music, culture and fads she lived through in her childhood, including the cassette single (which the song is being released on!).
Eliza Doolittle tour dates
Union J originally consisting of members Jaymi, JJ, Josh & George were formed in 2012 on the TV phenomenon that is the X-Factor. After finishing up as semi finalists the 4 boys went on to have chart success with 4 top 10 UK Official Chart singles and their first album selling over 100,000 copies hitting the charts at #6 in 2013. In 2014 the boys released their most successful single to date ‘You Got It All’ which hit the charts at #2 sending the boys on a whirlwind sold out tour across the UK selling over 40,000 tickets!
In 2016 George Shelley and the band partied ways with the band officially announcing in The Sun the newest member, former Stereo Kicks member Casey Johnson. Expect to hear all your favourites plus new music from this new four piece as they go on to the next chapter of Union J.

Example's meteoric rise from fresh-faced Fulham rapper to worldwide club anthem superstar has been nothing short of spectacular. Since hitting the charts in 2009, Example has gone from strength to strength, with hit singles such as 'Kickstarts' and 'Changed The Way You Kissed Me' the summer anthems of the last two years.

When Westlife split in 2011, they could look back at a career in which they 'fulfilled all of our dreams 1000 times over'. Their highs were almost unbelievable in their scale: 44 million sales; fourteen chart-topping singles; four huge homecoming shows in Dublin performing to thousands. And then Shane was out on his own.
For a man who had grown-up as the youngest of seven siblings and then enjoyed fourteen years of brotherhood in one of pop's biggest ever bands, it was a period of adjustment and a desire to pursue compelling pop. Following the success of his debut solo album 'You And Me', Shane continues creating better songs and more powerful ballads.
Shane Filan tour dates
Pixie Lott - so named after her fairy-like appearance as a baby - was signed to Def Jam at just fifteen years of age and her first single, Mama Do (Uh Oh, Uh Oh) sold 50,000 copies soon after. This success was easily repeated with the single Boys And Girls, a tantalising precursor to the success of her debut album, Turn It Up - debuting at No 6 in the UK Albums Chart.
