Skating Lessons With Susie Lipanova Of ITV’s Dancing On Ice

Learn to skate over six one hour sessions with Susie Lipanova.

Susie will teach for 30 minutes then you’ll have a chance to practice your new moves for 30 minutes, with Susie on hand to help you perfect those skills. Skate hire and a free cup of hot chocolate after eash session is included in the price of the course.

The course is suitable for participants of all levels, from total novices to people who can skate but are feeling a little rusty! Suitable for aged 5 and above.

Week by week, what you will learn:

WEEK 1. Introduction and safety on the ice. Warm up. Skating forwards. Two foot glide and dip.

WEEK 2. Skating backwards. Stepping around on the spot. Learning to stop.

WEEK 3. One foot glides. Inside and outside edges.

WEEK 4. Turning from forwards to backwards and vice versa. Two foot jump skating forwards.

WEEK 5. One foot glides backwards. Two foot spin.

WEEK 6. Two foot slalom. Backward skating stepping forwards both ways.

Presentation of certificates.
