The Unfolding Sky: Turner In The North
Three dancers, accompanied by an original music score, in a vibrant reimagining of some of the most radical depictions of the Northumberland countryside, captured on canvas by the great English landscape painter, William Turner.
Turner was considered controversial in his lifetime: his work is radical and free, poetic and dynamic in its use of colour and suggested form and with a strong sense of movement.
