Newcastle based cellist and singer-songwriter Ceitidh Mac blends soaring vocals with the deep, hypnotic sound of the cello to create a transformative alt-folk.
Folked-up unique singer/songwriter with a green guitar! Rachael Dadd's music harks back to Joni Mitchell and similar folk songstresses of her era, with a sense of innovation in her heartwarming songs. Semi-nomadic multi-instrumentalist Rachael Dadd defies categorisation, with her music incorporating influences from folk, Japanese Improv, and Minimalism. Her songs are as likely to feature banjo or clarinet as they are African field recordings or her unborn baby's heartbeat.
