The Throne / Larksong

Two main-stage double-bills will look at the time the Hoard went into the ground and the time it was discovered.

The Throne, a big-hearted comedy by Staffordshire-born playwright Frazer Flintham (Blurred, We Are Mermaid, BBC Radio Drama) tells the story of toilet maker Cliff who fears his whole life is going down the pan.

This comes hand in hand with Larksong by the award-winning Chris Bush (2014 Pitch Perfect Award winner). A powerful tale of friendship and fate it is the story of young Mercians caught up in a desperate battle.
