How To Write A Sonnet Workshop
Explore the potential of the sonnet form with Wenlock Poetry Festival Poet in Residence Paul Francis (who, incidentally, has written more sonnets than Shakespeare).
Participants will look at the very different ways in which writers currently use the sonnet form, as well having the opportunity to see Paul’s own drafting process, before making a start on a sonnet of their own.
An experienced teacher, Paul will be on hand to suggest possible approaches writers might adopt, and will also be available at the Priory Hall throughout the weekend to comment on participants’ works-in-progress.
