During the mid to late '60s, Jimmy James and the Vagabonds were one of the most popular soul acts on the live circuit, only rivalled by labelmates Geno Washington & His Ram Jam Band. Jimmy’s recording of Neil Diamond's ‘Red, Red Wine’ in 1969, taken from the Vagabonds’ second album ‘Open up your Soul’, gave them their first commercial hit record. He continues to play to full houses on the cabaret circuit across England and has appeared with artistes such as The Drifters, The Four Tops and the late Edwin Starr.

Seventies soul diva and voice of Rose Royce is still 'Wishing On A Star' at the 'Car Wash'. Gwen left Rose Royce in 1980 and ever since has been performing as a solo artist around the UK. She has also worked with Jay-Z in 1998 on his own composition called 'Wishing On A Star', featuring Gwen who re-recorded some of her original lyrics. Meanwhile the classic songs have been covered in recent years, including Mary J. Blige ('I’m Going Down'), Faith Evans ('Love Don’t Live Here Anymore'), Christina Aguilera and Missy Elliott ('Car Wash'), proof that Gwen's material has injured by today's artists.

A soul / funk singer from London, Natasha’s musical journey has resulted in only what can be described as an evocative musical journal, something she describes as “deeply personal, resonant and cathartic and it’s been in the making for some time now”.
It appears that time has come and the album is tipped to fly and with prestigious house and soul label Cool Million supporting and producing it only validates and further cements Natasha’s soulful credentials. Recent regular plays on Jazz, Solar and Smooth FM respectively, also means, for once – you can believe the hype!
