Blacktop Deluxe to play the 'Introducing Stage' at this years 'Bootleg Ball' (formerly Giants of Rock).

"The Bootleg Ball is a whole weekend dedicated to the unsung heroes of our Big Weekenders – the brilliantly talented tribute acts! Dig out your finest fancy dress and join us for three nights of great music and good vibes. Where else can you see ABBA, Elton John and Ed Sheeran (well, sort of) all in one place? This break is fancy dress-friendly (in fact, we wholeheartedly encourage it), so get busy planning your outfits!

Blacktop Deluxe

Formed in March 2013 out of the ashes of 'Blue on Black' & 'Devils Creek', retired in 2017 only to reform back in their original 'Power Trio' format' in July 2022. Blacktop Deluxe play their own 'Signature Brand' of Guitar driven, 'Power House' Rockin' Blues. With Albums and EP already released, the newly reformed 'Tops' are releasing two new songs as a double A side single in August 2022. Having already shared stages with giants of their Blues/Rock Genre, Joe Bonamassa, Deep Purple, Walter Trout, Larry Miller, Virgil & The Accelerators, Martin Barre & Focus, to name but a few, Blacktop's 5 Albums & EP's already released, supplemented by a new, double A side single released in August 2022. "Take some early ZZ Top (before they became commercial), add in some Sizzlin' Slide Guitar, Mix in some Dire Straits (but with a more modern edge to it) and you'll start to get an idea of their unique & irresistible Blues/Rock sound".
