The men of Deritend in Birmingham have answered The Call and gone to fight for King and Country in two World Wars.

Back home in Allcock Street they leave behind their sweethearts, families and a tin of Cadbury's chocolate biscuits.

With popular songs and music from both wars, and written by Roundabout's Ali Blackwell who based the show on the diaries of her parents Harry Smith of Deritend and Margaret Cox of Weoley Castle, there are some funny, light hearted and poignant moments as The Women come together to support each other in the absence of their men.
